Wanna read more? I was interviewed by SynBioBeta on synthetic biology and science communication: you can read about it here.
I am a scientist and a writer. I am deeply interested in science communication and the divulgation of science to a non-specialized audience.
Originally from Italy, I studied and lived in Ireland and the UK. I currently reside in Montréal where I work as a research scientist. In my spare time, I write as a freelancer for high-reputation websites - such as the Huffington post, Autodesk, Synbiobeta and many more! In year 2016/2017 I also acted as Community editor for the PLOSSynbio blog.

Writer/Editor: I have more than five years of experience in technical scientific writing (papers and grants) and extensive experience as a writer for several high reputation blogs, such as the Huffington Post.
I am also a creative writer: my favorite style is the novel, but I also like to write poems and I am currently training as a script writer
Scientist: I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher in Biocatalysis at Université de Montréal in the laboratory of Prof. Joelle Pelletier. In the past, I worked in the UK, first in industry at Synthace, a Synthetic Biology company in London, then in academia, as a Research Associate in Biocatalysis in the laboratory of Prof. Nicholas Turner at the University of Manchester. I have also been involved in teaching at undergraduate level both at the Dundalk Institute of Technology (Ireland) and at the Manchester Metropolitan University.
