In brief...
Originally from Italy, I studied and lived in Ireland and the UK. I currently reside in Montréal where I work as a research scientist and I was recently awarded an MBA from John Molson School of Business, Concordia University. In my spare time, I write as a freelancer for high-reputation websites - such as the Huffington post, Autodesk, Synbiobeta and many more! Writer/Editor: I have more than eight years of experience in technical scientific writing (papers and grants) and extensive experience as a writer for several high reputation blogs, such as the Huffington Post. I am also a creative writer: my favorite style is the novel, but I also like to write poems and I am training in other styles. Scientist: I am currently in Montréal working as an Invited Researcher in Université de Montréal. In the past, I worked in the UK, first in industry at Synthace (a Synthetic Biology company in London) then in academia, as a Research Associate in Biocatalysis in the laboratory of Prof. Nicholas Turner at the University of Manchester. I joined the laboratory of Prof. Joelle Pelletier in Université de Montréal in 2015 and I am in Canada since then. I have also been involved in teaching at undergraduate level both at the Dundalk Institute of Technology (Ireland) and at the Manchester Metropolitan University. AWARDS / GRANTS
